Aboriginal Symbols

These pieces have a sentimental meaning to EB Jewellery designer Ebony and her culture. Ebony created this collection for both indigienous and non-indigenous peoples to educate and carry Aboriginal history. With the hope that these pieces create a sense of connection to country on land that has never been ceded. The collection has rings or pendants with four Aboriginal symbols representing woman, man, water and sun. Aboriginal symbols can be drawn in different variations and one symbol can have more than one meaning. All symbols can be represented differently depending on the artist's dreaming. After thorough research, these are Ebony’s interpretations of the symbols. Parts of the collection were shot in Yulara on Pitjantjatjara country. Always Was, Always Will Be, Aboriginal Land.
